2010
This is the year to simply enjoy spending time with all of our dogs and especially the two new puppies from the Christmas litter of December 2009. Our Ch. Cash of Limerick, who has only been shown a handful of times this year, was awarded back to back best of breeds at the Golden Gate Kennel Club show in January going on to a Group 4 and  then a Group 1 on the second day. He also had a lovely breed win earlier in the month of January at the Kennel Club of Palm Springs all breed show under breeder judge Jacqueline Carswell which always draws a quality entry of Irish Wolfhounds. Cash was also awarded a nice best of breed win at the Lompoc Valley Kennel Club show the day after the IWAWC specialty in July. This was also a particularly strong entry coming off the specialty the day before.

In August Cash was awarded best of opposite sex at the Western Washington Hound Show under breeder judge Donna Brown.

September saw Cash going Best Opp at the Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club specialty under breeder judge Jacqueline Carswell with Limerick Frosty The Showman going Best Puppy in Specialty.
Limerick Jingle All The Way and Limerick Frosty The Showman were also Best in Sweeps and Best Opp in Sweeps respectively under breeder judge Karon Volk at this same specialty.

In December we were very pleased to get the news that Gabor of Eagle finished her championship and became the 30th champion for her sire Ch. Taryn Tate of Limerick SC. Gabor (Eva) is bred and owned by Sam Houston McDonald.

2009
We were beginning to lose hope that we would have our next planned litter in 2009. Then along came our dear friend Jackie Carswell who allowed Ch. Carnasserie Grayson of Eagle to join our household. Grayson presented us with a beautiful litter of seven> puppies on 12 /21/09. It was the best Christmas present imaginable Thus we called them our Christmas litter. We chose Limerick Frosty The Showman and Limerick Jingle All The Way to remain with us.

2008
Much of 2008 was spent watching many of the youngsters from our 2006 "Tennis Litter" finishing their championships around the country. Seven are now champions from the litter of twelve.

2007
Limerick had a wonderful kickoff to the year! Through a very windy Inland Empire Hound Club, our beautiful Cash of Limerick was Winners Dog for a 5 point major under breeder judge Beverly Little! > Unfortunately, the show was cancelled prior to the breed for safety reasons. The following days at The Kennel Club of Palm Springs, our wonderful Ch. Brolie Duchas of Limerick was Best of Breed both days!

Brolie was also Best of Breed and earned a Group First the second day of Golden Gate Kennel Club! It was fabulous way for Brolie to finish his campaign, and we thank Mrs. Jeanette McGinnis for her consideration of Brolie!

For the balance of this year Limerick will be spending time concentrating on our promising youngsters!

UPDATE - Ch. Cash of Limerick earns his championship at nine months of age under Mr. Frank Sabella! Cash is one of a litter of 12, many of which are major pointed from the puppy classes!

Limerick Come See About Me (Whippet) had an amazing second weekend out winning a 3 point major from the 6-9 puppy class under Diane Young McCormack! She was Reserve Winners bitch the following day under Mr. David Miller. What a way to start!

2006

Our "leading man" for 2006 is Brogan's son Brolie (Ch. Brolie Duchas of Limerick), with special "guest appearances" being made by Tate. Our first weekend of the year was the Hound Show and All-Breed Shows in Palm Springs - the largest shows in California. What a weekend:

MSBIS BIS Ch. Taryn Tate of Limerick SC was Best of Breed under breeder judge Dot Arn and earned a Group 3 under respected hound authority Barbara Rupert!

Kennel Club of Palm Springs Day 1
Brolie was Best of Breed under Mrs. Barbara Rupert and was placed Group First by Mr. Madison Weeks!

Kennel Club of Palm Springs Day 2
Brolie was Best of Breed under Mr. Lawrence Terricone, who later awarded him yet another Group First!

Each of these Hound Groups represented entries of over 700 of the country's top hounds! What an incredible honor, and what a beginning for Brolie!

Brogan (Irish Wolfhound) was campaigned on a limited basis in 2005 and ended the year as the Number on Irish Wolfhound All-Systems for the second consecutive year!

Tate (Irish Wolfhound) made two show appearances (his first since he was 2 years old) this year. He was our 2002 Pedigree Award Winner, and he proved that he still "has it":

To warm up for the National, we took Tate to Gavilan Kennel Club where he received a fantastic Group 2 under Lester Mapes!

Corcc (Irish Wolfhound) is Brogan's son who we started showing in March of this year as a 6 month old puppy. Despite his deep propensity towards naughtiness, Corcc completed his championship in just 3 months! We would like to thank the following judges for recognizing our young man:

Limerick's Whippet puppies have also begun their show careers.
Limerick Know When to Hold 'Em ("Ace") won a major at his show debut. He now has 5 points and a major at 11 months of age. His brother, Limerick Double Down ("Deuce") was just awarded his first point under Ms. Joan Frailey. Both boys have several Reserve Winners Dog awards to their credit as well. Limerick Let It Ride ("Parlay") has earned her first two points under Monica Cannestrini and Julie Holm. Limerick Exotic Bet ("Vegas") was Best In Sweepstakes under breeder judge Kelly Riney and Reserve Winners Bitch under Jaqueline Quiros Kubat at the Greater San Diego Whippet Association specialty in May! She has also earned her first points under Joan Frailey. Congratulations to her owner!

2004

We actively campaigned our Brogan (Ch. Oxmoon Brogan of Limerick) in 2004. We are so incredibly honored to have piloted him to his achievements! He ended 2004 as America's #1 Irish Wolfhound All-Systems!!!
