| Limerick's first Whippet arrived in 1986 - a gift from Martha Fielder (Crestfield) for Jamie's 11th birthday. Her name was Ch. Crestfield Primrose Hill, and she was to become the foundation bitch for the Limerick Whippet line. "Primrose" was twice bred to Ch. Saxon Shore Amber Waves. The first litter produced Ch. Crestfield Prim n' Proper, and the second litter produced Ch. Crestfield Rhea of Limerick, who we chose to progress our program. "Rhea" whelped a litter sired by Ch. Starline's Reign On, producing Limerick's second generation. The lone bitch of the litter of 11, Ch. Crestfield That Girl, was later bred to the National Specialty winning Ch. Merci Isle Meridian producing Limerick Show Me the Bunny, who Jamie co-owns with her aunt, Andra Haasis. Bunny was bred to Andra's Ch. Diva's Rigoletto of Bohem producing our lovely Limerick Unbridled. Continuing on our bitch line, Limerick's 6th generation is now on the ground. |
